Unified Messaging part 6

Repeat  The services repeat the name of the fax sender, and the time and date the fax was sent.
Answer or reply You hear:At the tone record your message. To end – press 9Once you have recorded your reply, the service gives you the following options:To edit(review or re-record) – press 1To send - press 2To delete – press 3For message options - press 4Once you have either sent or deleted your reply, you are returned to the original message and the Listen Menu options.

Delete You hear:Message deletedand the service moves onto the next message.

Copy You hear:Enter the message destination then press hashYou then enter a mailbox or group number, or use the mini-group feature to send it to more than one person or group (see Send Menu shortcuts for details of Mini-groups).Once you have entered your destination(s) you hear:To add your comments – press 1To send – press 2If you press  You hear: At the tone, record your message. To end press – 9Record your comments. These comments do not stay on the original fax message; they are just attached to the version you are copying.The service then gives you the following options:To edit(review or re-record) – press 1To send - press 2To delete – press 3For message options - press 4If you press  You hear:Message sentand return to the post listen options.To find out how to edit or delete messages, or for information on message options, please refer Post Message Options.

Keep

You hear:Message keptand the service moves on to the next message or returns to the main menu if there are no more messages.
Receive The service will ask you to press the start key on your fax machine and the fax will be delivered to your fax machine

Post Message Options

Edit 

You hear the message you have just recorded. You will then be given the options:To re-record – press 1To review – press 2If you want to re-record your message press  .You hear:recordingWhatever you record now replaces your original recording.If you wish to review what you have recorded before sending it press  , and the service plays back your message to you.When you are satisfied with your message, press   to return to the send menu options.

:Message sentand you are returned to the Main Menu.
  
Delete You hear:Message deletedand you are returned to the Send Menu.
  
Message options You hear:For Future Delivery – press 1For Message Type – press 2To return to the Send Menu – press 9If you press  You are asked to enter the day, month and time of the day you want your message to be delivered.If you press  You are given the options shown in Message Type Options.If you press  You are returned to the Send Menu.

Urgent Marks your message urgent. The recipient hears urgent message before all others. If you receive more than one urgent message, they are sorted in chronological order.
  
Reply requested When the recipient has listened to the message, the service says:The sender has requested an immediate reply to this message.If the recipient does not reply to your message, the service sends the following reply to you:Your reply requested message was heard on..and plays back the first five seconds of your message.
  
Confidential 
Marks your message confidential. The recipient is not able to forward this message to anybody else.
  
Normal 

Overwrites any previous action and returns the message to its original state. This means that messages are not marked ‘urgent’, ‘confidential’ or ‘reply requested’.

When you have chosen your option(s), press   to return to the Send Menu.
When the recipient next dials into their mailbox, the service announces that they have one new message that includes a fax, from you. They can then retrieve the fax as outlined in Retrieving faxes.

To send the fax to another fax machine, follow the steps in the sections Retrieving faxes and From a touchtone telephone.
 
 
3.3.2 Retrieving faxes
Dial your mailbox as normal. The service tells you how many new fax messages you have and how many pages they contain. Press   to listen to your voice messages and fax received details. When you reach the fax message you want to retrieve, follow the appropriate procedure below.
From a fax machine

Fax messages can only be retrieved on a fax telephone or fax machine with an operational speaker. If your fax machine does not have a speaker follow the directions for a touchtone telephone.
