Keep You hear:Message keptand the service moves on to the next message or returns to the main menu if there are no more messages.
1.1.1 Listen Menu shortcuts
There are some options that are not prompted which can save you valuable time when listening to your messages:
Whilst listening to your messages:
Press Action Result
Skip to end Press at any point during the message to go straight to the end of your message without listening to it all. You can then reply to, delete, copy or keep the message as normal.
Rewind The service repeats the last eight seconds of the message to which you have just listened.
Previous message To return to the previous message, press at any time whilst listening to your messages. If you wish, you can then keep or delete the previous message.
Pause The service pauses for two minutes, or until you press again. You can press to pause wherever you are in the service, except when you are entering menu choice numbers.
Help Provides you with help on the part of the service you are currently using. You can press for help wherever you are in the service.
Return Returns you to the Main Menu.
1.1.2 Sending voicemail
To access the Send Menu, dial your mailbox as normal and from the Main Menu press to send a message.
If you want to send a message to another subscriber’s mailbox or to a personal group, press from the Main Menu. You hear the following instructions:
Enter the message destination, then press hash
Enter either the mailbox number of the person you want to send it to, or enter the group number followed by the hash key .
Once you have entered your choice, you hear the person’s Name Announcement or the group name/number depending on which one you have chosen, followed by:
At the tone, record your message. To end press 9.
Start recording your message. Once you have completed your message, press 9 to end recording. You are given the following options:
Press Action Result
Edit You hear the message you have just recorded. You will then be given the options:To re-record – press 1To review – press 2If you want to re-record your message press .You hearRecordingWhatever you record now replaces your original recording.If you wish to review what you have recorded before sending it press , and the service plays back your message to you.When you are satisfied with your message, press to return to the send menu options.
