Sending faxes
When you send a fax, you first have to send it to your own mailbox. You can then copy it to other individuals or groups. Therefore ‘sending’ and ‘forwarding’ faxes require exactly the same procedure, which is detailed below.
Sending a fax to your mailbox:
Dial your mailbox from a fax machine.
Remember to have your fax ready to send, and placed the correct way up in the fax machine’s document tray
If your fax machine utilises a START key, when you hear your personal greeting, press the START key.
Your fax is then sent to your mailbox. If your fax machine does not utilise a START key, your fax is
sent automatically
Once you have sent the fax to your mailbox you can forward it to another subscriber, group or fax machine of your choice.
Sending/copying the fax from your mailbox:
Dial your mailbox in the normal way. The service will inform you that you have new messages and that some of them include a fax.
