Retrieve The service will ask you to press the start key on your fax machine.
Start Retrieve The service will poll the fax to the fax machine that you are calling from.
From a touchtone telephone
If you are dialling from a normal touchtone telephone:
Press Action Result
Copy The service will ask you to enter a destination.
Out dial Then key in the number of the fax machine you want the fax delivered to. You must include all area and country codes. Press the hash key when finished. The service repeats the number back to you. (If you have entered the number incorrectly, press the star key to cancel and start again.)
Send The service will deliver the fax to the fax machine of your choice.
1.1 User options
To access the User Options Menu, dial your mailbox as normal and from the Main Menu press for User Options.
If you want to change all or part of the set up of your mailbox, press for User Options from the Main Menu and you hear the following options:
Press Action Result
Group set-up You hear the options that are described in detail in the group set-up section.
Personal settings You hear the options that are described in detail in the personal settings section.
1.1.1 Group set-up
To access the Group set-up Menu, dial your mailbox as normal and from the Main Menu press 3 for User Options and then again for Group set-up.
To edit, create, delete or name a group, from the Main Menu press for User Options, then press again for Group Set-up.
You are given the following options:
Press Action Result
Edit Edit an existing group.
Create Create a new group.
Delete Delete an existing group.
Name or re-name Name or re-name an existing group.
These options are described in greater detail below.
Editing an existing group
To edit a group, press .
The service asks you to enter the number of the group you wish to edit, followed by the hash key .
Enter the group number you wish to edit, for example 1, then press the hash key .
After the service has repeated to you which group you have chosen for editing, you hear:
The first person in the group is…
The service plays back to you the Name Announcement of the first person in that group.
The service then gives the following options:
Press Action Result
Listen The service plays the next name in the group and then repeats the group edit options. If you press again, you will hear the name announcement of the next group member. This will continue until the end of the list.
Add You hear:Enter the number you wish to add to the group, then press hashEnter the mailbox number of the person you want to add to the group followed by the hash key .If you try to add a mailbox number that has already been entered into the group, the service tells you that this particular person is already entered in the group.If you try to add an invalid number into the group, you hear:The number was not specified correctly or is an invalid number. A number in a group must be a mailbox number.The service will then prompt you to re-enter the mailbox number, or you can press the star key to cancel the action and return to the group edit options.
Remove The service repeats the Name Announcement and tells you it has been removed.
Search The service asks you to enter the number of the person you wish to search for followed by the hash key . You are then given the following options (for example):Gordon Bennett is already listed.To delete it from the current group, press 3, if you wish to keep this number, press 5.or:Gordon Bennett is not listed.To add it to the current group, press 2, if you do not wish to add this entry, press 5.
Exit Returns to the previous menu.
Once you have made your selection, you are returned to the previous menu.
Creating a new group
The first time you choose the group set up option, the service only allows you to press to create a group, as you do not yet have any groups created.
If you press , you hear:
New group number 1 created, at the tone record a name for this group. To end, Press 9.
Record a name for your group and press when finished. The service then gives you the options listed in the following table:

Record If you want to re-record the name press .
Keep If you are satisfied with the name press .
Delete If you do not want the group to have a name but be called the default ‘Group number 1’ then press , to delete.
Exit Your group will be deleted if you decide to exit at this point.
Once you have chosen an option above you hear:
To create the group, enter each number followed by hash. After the final number press hash twice.
Enter each six-digit mailbox number followed by the hash key . After pressing the hash key, you hear the Name Announcement of the person you entered into the group.
Press the hash key twice after your last entry.
You hear:
Group number 1 will be stored.
You are then returned to the Main Menu of your mailbox.
Once you have at least one group created, you can choose from any of the options listed in the Group Set-up Menu.
